Elisa is an abstract artist based in Northern NSW, australia

The natural colours of the earth, the sea, the sky and the stunning coastal landscape that surrounds her, inspires her artwork.

From an early age, Elisa enjoyed drawing and during her teens developed skills in painting and working in mixed media.

With creativity and design having been heavily intertwined in her life, Elisa has gained skills in many creative mediums including mono printing, screen-printing pottery, sewing, jewellery making and photography. She loves to create and has found art to be a wonderful and powerful tool to investigate feelings, emotions and make sense of the world.

Elisa holds a Diploma in Graphic Design and a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. After many years working in health, she has recently returned to her creative roots. Her experiences in working in health have provided skills and an understanding of human anatomy and the human condition, and led her to a journey of exploring through her art, themes of identity, emotion and human connection.

Currently Elisa is focussed on painting works that explore the fit between women and their environment. She is exploring the pieces that make us who we are, delving into identity and how we identify who we are, whilst we constantly grow and evolve into something new.
